We Specialize in Content

PaperStreet specializes in producing content for law firms and businesses. We offer a full range of content services from content analysis, strategy and writing to editing, proofreading and content organization. Our services include website copy, attorney bios, taglines, blogs, press releases, newsletters, marketing copy, white papers, ebooks and other content.

Our team has written thousands of pages on virtually every practice area including personal injury, family law, criminal defense, estate planning, probate, maritime, intellectual property, commercial litigation, insurance defense, medical malpractice, real estate, DUI/DWI, workers’ compensation, employment law, whistleblower law, securities law, social security disability and more.

Below are answers to a few common questions we receive about our process and services.

How long does it take to write website content?

It takes two to three hours to produce a quality page of content, including an interview with firm members, competitive research, writing, on-page optimization, editing, approval and uploading the page to your content file or website. A typical page of content is 500 to 600 words in length.

What is PaperStreet’s content writing process?

After the contract is signed, we assign a dedicated writer to your project. The writer reviews your website, project brief, competitor sites, marketing materials, SEO keywords and other materials. The writer then conducts an interview of firm members to gather information about the tone, style, branding, content goals and details of each page.

After the interview, the writer drafts two to six sample pages (depending on the size of the project). The content is edited by our in-house team and sent to the client for review. Feedback on the sample pages help us ensure that the pages are aligned with your content goals and helps us perfect future pages.

After the sample pages are approved, we write the remaining pages. We break the content process into batches to facilitate review. After the pages are approved, we upload them to your content file or website.

What factors affect content pricing?

As mentioned above, a 500-word page of quality content takes two to three hours to produce from interview through posting. Longer pages, complex topics and pages with special design features may take longer to write and affect pricing. We can sometimes offer volume discounts for large projects or projects bundled with other services.

With content, the adage “you get what you pay for” holds true. Other vendors may offer lower prices but rock bottom prices are often a red flag for poor quality content. We hire the best legal writing talent from around the country so that we can produce polished copy that is customized to your law firm, geographic area and website goals. Our writers are attorneys with practice experience and follow our proven process to produce customized copy that make our clients happy.

How can I prepare for the content interview?

Any stakeholders who will be reviewing the pages or will have input on the content should be part of the content interview. Generally, the more information we can learn about your firm and legal team, the more we can customize the content to your firm and goals. Below is some information that can help us draft your pages:

  • Types of clients and /or industries the practice area serves
  • Types of cases and transactions the practice handles
  • Factors that differentiate you from your competitors. Why do clients choose your firm for representation in this area?
  • Overview of attorney experience in this practice area/industry. Do attorneys have board certification or any specialized training, credentials or background? Have any attorneys or the firm received awards, recognition, press mentions or other accolades?
  • Specific information you want to highlight on a page. Perhaps attorneys have had particular success in a specific type of matter or have developed a strong reputation for handling certain types of cases/matters.
  • Philosophy or approach to handling cases/transactions and working with clients
  • Content tone or style on other sites that you wish to emulate

Do you write website disclaimers and privacy policies?

Yes, we can write something custom for your law firm needs, but we also have templated language that offers a great starting point and references all the key points for these boiler plate pages. Download our sample Website Disclaimer, and our sample Website Privacy Policy.
